About Colson Creates

Colson Creates was born in October 2021, by Craig and Julie Colson. Our journey began when we showcased our work in November 2021 at St. Robert Bellarmine’s Church Bazaar. We were overjoyed with the compliments, accolades, and overall outcome of this event; so much so, that we decided to dip-our-toes into a few more events. To our delight, we were accepted into our first juried event with the Ocean State Artisans. Now we were official. A three day show, and did we have a lot to learn. Yes we are still learning. After these few events, we noticed that we had developed a following. That’s when we decided to develop our website. A continual work-in-progress; that we are always improving. Spring 2022 arrived, and we had our first juried outdoor show. Another three day event at the Gaspee Day Art and Craft Show. We were again blessed with many visitors, compliments, and success at this show. In August 2022, we expanded by overhauling our website into a new one, featuring a store with many offerings: Prints, Wall Art, and Build-Your-Own Cards all shipped right to your door. As an added bonus, we also offer a service where you can use your own photo, and have it printed on many of the items in our store, including making your own cards and invitations. As we continue to evolve, we are truly grateful, thankful, and blessed for your continued support and patronage. Please enjoy exploring our website! Hope to see you at our next show!!!

Meet the Duo

Craig Colson

Hi, I'm Craig, I started with photography when I was in high school. I used my father's Konica 35mm camera. I had the honor of attending many events and field trips my senior year to take pictures for our senior yearbook. After high school, I put the camera away for about 30 years. When I purchased my first digital camera it was to take family photos. Primarily of my children. It didn't take long for me to get hooked on learning about the digital age of photography and taking photos of Wildlife, Nature, Landscapes, and more. I love seeing the enjoyment of those that admire and purchase our work. It's a great feeling knowing that our work will hang on your wall. Best of all I get to do all this with my daughter.
